Big thanks to all concerned on getting to the bottom of my boiler problem, Not an easy task by any means. Can’t thank enough Hugh for his diagnosis and recommending a new boiler. Also Declan for trouble free way he fitted new boiler in one day very professional. Shout out to staff for helping me in my times of need. Very pleased long time customer.

We required a new gas boiler and sought information as to the best option for us, O'Neil Gas sent a man-with-a-van round who gave some great advice on the type that would be best suited for our house which was a Baxi. An engineer, Glen, came to fit the new boiler on the date specified and on time. Glen was a nice guy, very polite and chatty told us exactly what would be done and how long it would probably take. He was very methodical in removing the old boiler and fitting the new one. He arranged for the old one to be taken away for recycling and it was taken during the fitting experience. The fitting seemed straight forward for the engineer, new piping, exhaust, etc, a precise cut through the wall for the condensation pipe was done very well, again little mess. We lost water supply for only about an hour or so which was good news. Any new holes, the boiler was smaller than previous, were filled in and/or new sealant gaskets fitted. Glen made little mess but was clearing up as he went along. He cleaned up all the bits on completion of fitting so nothing really to do for us. On completion of fitting, he conducted a test of the boiler and checked all the radiators in the house to make sure they were bled and in working order. Glen also fitted and gave us instruction of Hive a great addition to the heating system, able to change times and heat remotely, it was easy to do even for a couple of oldies like us. A longer length of cable was used as we were not sure about boxing the boiler in, Glen advised that when we knew what we were going to do just call and he would arrange a permanent fixing point to be made. A great job all round from the great advice to the boiler selection to the fitting and testing, very pleased with the outcome and a job very well done, wholly recommended.
